User Research

User interviews were conducted with three individuals aged 30-55, who either take regular medication themselves or have parents who do.

Observation:

Insights:

User feels frustrated to manually fill one week or more supply.

User has difficulties taking correct dosage when the regimen is complex.

User forgets to record after taking pills.
Manually refilling process can be repetitive and easy to make mistakes during it.

People tend to seek the consistancy in a certain time period because it is easier to remember without additional help.

Most of existing assistive APPs that help taking record require a lot of smartphone interaction and are separate from pillbox or medication station.

User doesn’t regularly organize overall medicine supply at home. There’s no holistic system to manage all the medicine at home while a physical storage can be messy to keep track of.
