User Research
User interviews were conducted with three individuals aged 30-55, who either take regular medication themselves or have parents who do.User has difficulties taking correct dosage when the regimen is complex.
User forgets to record after taking pills.
People tend to seek the consistancy in a certain time period because it is easier to remember without additional help.
Most of existing assistive APPs that help taking record require a lot of smartphone interaction and are separate from pillbox or medication station.
Design Criteria
A home-based medication station that provides organized storage, documents medication info, and auto-dispenses daily doses, ensuring timely and accurate medication for elderly users at home.
A compact, smart pillbox designed for easy portability to the workplace, with a built-in reminder system that requires minimal smartphone interaction.
